Commemoration Brigade Piron
80 years after the liberation, several historic vehicles are travelling through Belgium!
To mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation, a number of historic vehicles will meet the public in the coming weeks. After an initial tour of Normandy this summer, a number of Piron Brigade vehicles will also pass by a number of liberation commemorations in Belgium. Moreover, they will do so in the company of some other exceptional vehicles!
Several wheeled - but also tracked! - vehicles will be seen at various locations across Belgium in the coming weeks. In both static and dynamic demonstrations, they will stop at a number of iconic locations from the Brigade's history!
On the programme? Daimler Dingo Scout Car and Armoured Car, Scammell Pioneer, Bren Carrier and even Bergpanzer, to name a few.
