October 1944: The German occupation of Antwerp has come to an end and the German army seems to be expelled from Belgium. However, between October 1944 and March 1945 the city is ravaged by V1 and V2 bombs launched from Germany and the Netherlands. The Germans try to recapture the harbour in order to jeopardize allied supply. More than 4,000 people die…
